Our Stallions - Dougie, Matador and Spey

LYNCREST'S RHODRI
14.1hh Grey dun Stallion foaled 2000.
By Sporrandene of Kildavie o/o Lyncrest's Rhodene

Lyncrest's Rhodrie (Dougie) has now had five seasons (2010) at stud and we are delighted with his offspring. He is passing on his correct conformation, good bone and kind temperament and his youngsters have consistently done well in the show ring. He has superb bloodlines, his sire being by Glensuie and his dam by Glen Aigas. Excellent fertility. Pedigree appended.
First foals from Lyncrest's Rhodri

Balleroy Rooster o/o Balleroy Yoyo  (AKA Rupert)

Balleroy Razzmatazz o/o Whitefield Lady Di

Balleroy Yashmina o/o Yasmin of Whitefield

MATADOR of WHITEFIELD
14.1 h.h. Grey Dun stallion foaled 2004
by Clandon Moriarti o/o Zola of Whitefield

Matador came down from Scotland in July, after a brief visit we made to Whitefield in June. Beautifully bred with with lines compatible with ours, we feel that he will have a profound influence when bred to Dougie's daughters. Recently backed he is the most delightful of ponies in every way and we consider ourselves very lucky to have him here.

NASHEND LORD SPEY

2 y.o Mouse dun colt by Brig o'Doon of Whitefield o/o Lady Mac Rash of Warren

Spey came here as a foal from Penny Smith with the intention of becoming one of the stallions at Ashdown. Recently licenced, he will be covering two or three of our older mares this year, which is very exciting.
